From Málaga airport there´s direct flights to Dublin airport with aer lingus and ryanair but I flew with Iberia because i did not find flights with the others companies before.
With Iberia there is not direct flight to Dublin from Málaga you have to change at Madrid or Barcelona, i did it on Madrid, the flight was early in the morning. I took the flight from Málaga to Madrid at 6.35 in the morning and from Madrid to Dublin at 10.15 am and arrived to Dublin airport at 11.35 am. Coming back was at 18.50 from Dublin to Madrid and 23.50 pm from Madrid to Málaga. The staff was very friendly and the service was ok.

We booked our flight with Aer Lingus, which is the national airline of Ireland. The prices are average but if you book on Aerlingus.com you can save about $ 40.00. We paid $ 924.00 for 2 round trip tickets economy flying into Shannon Airport.
The Airbus A330-200 was comfortable and our flight arrived and departed on time. The staff on the plane was very good.

It only cost me 19 pounds (incl. taxes) to fly to London on a last minute fare. It was my first (and only) experience with the bargain airlines in Europe. I see that today they advertise for less than a pound

This statue of a pig with wire wings sits right outside the Dublin airport. As waited for the bus to take us to town, we noticed the pig of Dublin airport.
I went with 3 vtr's and rushed to take the first vt picture of our group in Dublin, sad to say Chris already beat me to it by taking a picture inside the airport or at the Shannon airport.
If you click on the photo to enlarge it, you get a better view.

The quickest way to travel to Dublin is by plane.Various airlines like the Irish Aer Lingus or Ryanair and the German Lufthansa or Germanwings operate services to Dublin.
The International Airport of Dublin is located about 8 miles (12 km) north of Dublin.

Depending on where you're flying here from, this probably determines the airline you use. Easyjet and Ryanair can be wonderfully inexpensive options, but remember they don't use LHR itself so they stink as means of connecting to Dublin from your primary home, transoceanic location. I've used both British Midland and Aer Lingus recently then, and if you make your internet reservations with enough advance notice, you can still get some great bargains with these major carriers. Really, you can. Just do a little homework, some research, on your own; it is work but it does work, too.

Ryanair's prices just cannot be beaten! They sometimes have these crazy deals, where you only need to pay for the airport taxes. This means about 20 euros per flight, so about 45 per round flight! Please note that this is only on special occasions (e.g. their 5 millionth passenger or sth), and if you book well enough in advance.
Service is not thát great, but I guess you get what you pay for. You have to pay for drinks on the plane, and they try to sell you things on the plane as well... I never had any problems with them, I have heard about them, though, but they were never confirmed.
Just visit their web site (below) and go to Book Flights on the top right handside of the screen. It's dead easy!
As you can see on the picture, one of the ways of getting revenue for Ryanair is by putting ads on their planes. I believe this is just too funny! Especially when you're drinking a Guinness while looking at your Kilkenny airplane :-)

By plane with Aer Lingus. For me this was the best Airline I ever travelled with. But then again I'm not a big flyer anyway because I hate it. But my first flight was an Aer Lingus one from Dusseldorf to Dublin and I loved it(especially the view of the green fields in the last 10 minutes, see picture). Troubles started later....
Dublin airport is a bit outside the city in the north and can be reached by DART & Bus.

Aer Lingus is the national airline of Ireland and connects Dublin with lots of places all over Europe. It's quick, from Amsterdam the flight time is 65 minutes, from Germany it's 1 hour 40 or something.... On the picture you see one of their nice green Planes. Actually the first plane I ever took in my life...
