Temple Bar district-loads of pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Enough to keep even the most die-hard partyer busy to all hours. The Temple Bar Information Centre is located on Eustace Street for a little guidance in hitting the area. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Umm... I don't remember. But there's a bunch of pubs and clubs in the Temple Bar area, so you can't go wrong.
Whatever you do, do NOT wear sneakers (or 'runners', in native speak). There are bouncers at the door of most clubs and pubs, and it seems their only job is to prevent people wearing 'runners' from going in. You might be practically naked otherwise and you'll be welcome to enter, as long as your footwear is appropriate. Oh, and avoid carrying any kind of daypack/bag/etc. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Pubs, pubs and more pubs, what can I say about Irish pubs except 'let me in' and 'mines a guiness or volka'. My biggest mistake ever, was to try to keep up with an irish person drink for drink, bad move. I was staying in a hotel sharing a room with 2 english friends according to them that night it took me 3 attempts to use the swipe card to get into the room, I staggered to the bed, fell face down with all my clothes on and didnt move all night and my two friends had to keep getting up to check I was still breathing. I won't even bother trying to describe the hangover I had the next day. Favourite pub so far is the Brazen Head. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Filled with people from all over the world mixed in with the natives. Great atmosphere plenty of people to talk to. If you want a mixture of traditional music with general popular music then this is the place for you.
Neat dress essential. Once you are clean, presentable and not going to let yourself down, you should have no problem in getting in. Very nice renovated and improved central location of Dublin City. Get to West More

by Kozzmozz Ofcourse all the Irish Pubs in the Temple Bar district. I have some special memories about a really beautiful club called 'Zanzibar' Inside you will find a very decorated interior, with palmtrees, African paintings on the wall, and a high ceiling....Lovely ! Good music, beautiful decoration, really nice interior.
The crowd visiting Zanzibar is trendy dressed, so no sneakers and short trousers. When you are visiting a pub, you can wear alomst everything.... Leave a Comment Theme: Live MusicDirections: On the quay of the Liffey, south bank.

by thunderbox Probably a bit of a toursit trap, but this area of Dublin has so many fun bars and restaurants you can't go wrong.
Everyone dresses really casual in Ireland. Dublin may be the high end of casual. We wore black pants and a t-shirt and we were fine. I never saw anyone turned away from a bar for not being dressed properly, so as long as your wearing clothes you should be fine. by jenna24 O'Shea's Located a little out from the city centre, this spacious bar is certainly worth a visit if traditional music's your thing. Featuring live music most nights, the pub has quite a reputation for its impromptu set-dancing sessions that attract a wide cross-section of Dublin punters. The bar opens until 1.30am on Thursday and Friday nights. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: 12 Bridge Street Lower Dublin 8Tel: +353 1 679 3797

by ciaramalone Irish music and dancing - Dublin's best show - The Famous Taylors Irish Night First enjoy the banquet from the award winning restaurant. Then sit back to be entertained by the very best of Irish ballad groups, such as the Merry Ploughboys. The ballad session is interrupted midway by a spectacular dance routine incorporating the best of contemporary and traditional Irish dancing. After the dancing the band returns to the stage to really let loose. A night of authentically Irish entertainment is guaranteed!

This is a great place to go from pub to pub enjoying a pint or two! We enjoyed quite a few pints at Oliver St. John Gogerty, The Temple Bar, Fitzsimmons and many other places that I don't remember names....there is also great live music and dancing.
