ENGLISH VERSION: Get out of DUBLIN and see the beautiful green irish landscape. Go southbound to WILKLOW COUNTY and discover GLENDALOUGH, a monastic site that was founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century. A MUST SEE only 50 kilometers (31 miles) from BAILE ATHA CLIATH (Dublin). To me, typically irish. You'll love it.
TRIP TIP: By car, take the N 7 eastbound to leave DUBLIN, then the N 11 southbound.

Explore enchanting Glendalough, a 6th century monastic settlement in County Wicklow... one of the most famous and captivating places in Ireland. The spectacular hidden mountains and barren boglands at Sally's Gap will definitely leave you breathless. BTW, Sally's Gap was the location for the movie 'Braveheart'. You'll soon discover why if you were to visit this place.
