    Avoca Cafe: Quality Organic Food

    Avoca Café, is an organic realm in the heart of Dublin. Turn left walking off Grafton street (in the direction where Molly Malone is) an you will find a place that has a variety of homemade breads, desserts and gourmet dishes.

    The Café has table service and provides also organic fruit juices and numerous other homemade treats.
    What is best that it is set on the second floor of the Avoca store, so after you eaten you can have a scoop around the shop. Not only you can buy whatever you just eaten and other organic quality food, but also you get to see amazing Irish products, wooden toys, house accesories and woolen products. Everything is pricey however, but even a tourist on a buget can compromise something for those lovely products!

    Avoca Café is a lovely place and the service is excellent. A good idea is to start off the day with a coffee of your choice and the Avoca healthy option breakfast, but lunch is even better!
    Light lunches are available and can also be purchased as takeaway down in the basement food hall. The lunch menu is traditional and modern Irish with international influences including a Thai broth, confit of duck salad, homemade beef stew with mashed potato and a large choice of house salads.

    Afternoon tea is definitely one of the highlights of the Avoca Café as it is served with a delicious selection of homemade desserts, home baked scones and biscuits. Each dessert is served on silver trays with assortments of butter and organic jams and marmalades.

    Satisfied customers can purchase The Avoca Cookbook which is also on sale in the Café! Why not try some Irish cooking back at home?

    Mind that the Cafe opens later in the day!

    10.00-18.00 Monday to Wednesday and Saturday
    10.00-20.00 Thursday
    11.00-18.00 Sunday

    Favorite Dish: Avoca Rhubarb and Ginger Jam (to purchase in the basement food hall) - something about 5 euro.

    Also try scones, homemade breads with various dips, humus, pesto, sun-dried tomato and some smoothies, organic apple, tomato, cranberry and grapefruit juices.

    Great for Sunday brunch or just a sandwich during the week. Opens from 9am to 5pm. They stop serving hot food at 4.30pm. They also sell weird and wonderful things.. Clothes which of course for Ireland are expensive, they sell unique and exclusive gifts all made in Ireland. They have a Aladdins cave of treasures a foodhall, books, and the award winning cafe. Avoca is Irelands oldest surviving business founded in 1723, family owned. They knit and weave, sew and bake. Most things are pretty expensive.%

    Favorite Dish: Great for all different types of sandwiches and delicious breads. Lots of homemade food to eat..Great for coffee lovers

    One of my favouriteplaces to go to in dublin is Avoca cafe. Situated on suffolk st (just off grafton st.). It's very reasonably priced and the staff are so friendly.
    Good atmosphere, friendly staff

    Avoca is, without a doubt, my most favorite lunch stop in Dublin. Their deli section is located on the bottom level of the store, tempting you to shop on the way down. The selection is amazing.

    You can have a main dish with a couple side salads or just have a selection of salads as the entire meal. My only warning, don't eat too much and forget to save room for dessert!

    Favorite Dish: I love the broccoli, tomato, hazelnut, and feta salad. I even went so far as to buy the cookbook so I could make it at home. The dressing makes the dish.
