Little Caesar’s was my favourite restaurant when I studied in Dublin. Whatever the occasion - Valentine’s Day, parents visit or an evening out with friends, it was always a good choice as the food was delicious and the prices were fair. The original restaurant was on Balfe Street, just of Grafton street near the Westbury Hotel, but in the last few years, more Little Caesars restaurants have opened up around the city. The most convenient is on College Green, near Trinity College and the Bank of Ireland. They have an excellent lunchtime menu offering starters for 3.75 Euro and main courses for 7.50 Euro. As an Italian restaurant it’s not surprising there is a good choice of pizza and pasta; there is also a good selection of meat and fish dishes.
Little Caesars are on Balfe St & on Harcourt St (Both in Dublin 2) and have a wonderful menu that is great value for money. We had a VT meeting there recently when Acemj came to town. And the waiters are pretty cute too. ....that's always an important consideration ;-)
They have also opened another restaurant on Dame St., within view of Trinity College.
Favorite Dish:
I had a lovely rosemary & lemon chicken with salad
This is where we met for our VT meeting. Great choice, Louise!!
The food was good, but of course, it was more memorable because of the good company. It was fun getting to know Louise (IrishFem), Peter (kili99), Suzanne (Suzanne M), Orla (orlikins), Dave (dmrtn) and Gabby (gabsblack).
Sorry the photo's so dark.
Favorite Dish:
I had the Insalata di Caesar to start and then had the Penne alla Vodka for the main course. Both were really good.
