Have a visit to St Patric's Church.
Ireland's largest church, St Patrick's Cathedral, stands on what is probably the oldest Christian site in Ireland. A wooden church was built here in the fifth century after Ireland's patron saint, St Patrick, baptised his first Christian converts at a well on the site.

The original structure here was completed in 1270, and its been added on ever since. This is the largest church in Ireland and is the National Cathedral.

The floor in this church is especially interesting. It's a mosaic of colorful tiles. This was also Jonathan Swift's church and you can see memorials to him here.

Interesting historic place, with lots of information on the Dublin story. Also shows the church influence on the Irish history. Nice windows.

We enjoyed a stroll around the grounds and then inside the church. It's worth spending a little bit of time here having a bit of a look.

The altar is beautifully carved and the choir above it is, somewhat oddly, adorned with swords and helmets which represent the various knights of St. Patrick.

The Cathedral has a remarkable illumination, with surprising and interesting light effects. I’ll suggest you to explore the church many details; You wont be disappointed about them!
