Tourist Information Office
Housed in the former St Andrews Church, near Grafton Street, this is Dublins main Tourist Information Centre. I'd made 2 previous attempts to this TIC, hoping to get a copy of the Rock n Stroll trail, but it had been closed. When I finally managed to time my arrival during their opening times, I must admit that I was disappointed to receive a photo copied sheet, listing the sites of the trail, with the same minimal information, that is on the 'Vinyl LP' plaque. I'll cover some of these sites in later tips. You can see one of these plaques in my main picture.
You can also pick up 3 other trails - Old City, Georgian Heritage and Cultural Heritage.
This centre has lots of information leaflets, guide books etc as well as a large shopping area selling 'Oirish trinkets' and crafts. There is also Fionn McCool’s Café and Sandwich Bar, where you can grab a bite to eat -apparently you can download a voucher for a free tea or coffee from the web site.
Currency exchange, Box Office for concerts/events, Dublin Pass, Dublin bus tickets, Bus Eireann Tickets.

Dublin Tourism Centre
The main branch of Dublin Tourism Centre is situated in St Andrew Church. The tourism centre is occupying the whole building so it is no longer functioning as a church. Here you can get information about Dublin and the rest of Ireland, book accommodation or tickets for different events. There is also a big souvenir shop, an exchange office and a café. Upstairs there are bathrooms.
Dublin Tourism Centre
The Dublin Tourist Center is the best placed of all I had visited. It is located in the restored St Andrew Church ib Suffolk Street near all the main touristic ways. It has a lot of information and different from in other cities you can make accomodation reservations.
