The Guinness hopstore is a definite tourist trap. For your admission fee (which was 3 pounds when I went) you get to see a crummy set of Guinness related paraphenalia and a narrated slideshow. Fortunately, you get a free pint of Guinness as well, but the cynical might suspect that this is to just to loosen people's wallets for when they are lead out through the gift shop.
