Killiney Favorites

Favorite thing: The road to Dalkey is very scenic. On the left hand side is Killiney Hill - it takes 30 minutes to climb and the views are stunning - I didn't do the climb but I was reliably informed!! The views from the road are pretty good anyway.

Favorite thing: We came off the beach via this tunnel arch... on the walls are scrawled hundreds of fan messages to U2 and Bono. At the top of the steep path (and it is VERY steep!) you turn right into Vico Road and there are even more scribblings!!! That is the wall surrounding Bono's grounds.

Fondest memory: Finding Bono's place.

Favorite thing: Walk down to the beach from the station. There are lots of walkers down there, some with dogs, some exercising. There's also an awful lot of rubbish. At the opposite end of the beach to this photo there is no exit... just rocks so turn back and walk up through this tunnel........

Favorite thing: Killiney Hill Park and the path through the woods to return to Fitzpatrick Castle hotel were awesome. Well worth the walk.

Favorite thing: or.... "the one I didn't climb". It takes about 30 minutes and it is very steep... but the views are fabulous I'm told.
