Favorite thing: Malahide being a sheltered waterway close to the sea has developed an outstanding marina which is home to many luxury boats, large and small, sail and power.
Luxury apartments overlook the marina which is less than 5 minutes walk from New Street.
On a sunny day find a cafe overlooking the marina and enjoy a coffee whilst watching the activity on the marina.

Favorite thing: Malahide is often described as a picturesque maritime village, Malahide has been the overall winner of the Tidy Town Competition and in the summer months attracts both Dubliners and tourists to enjoy the local ambience.
The sea has played a major role in the development of tourism in the town. The extensive Velvet Strand stretches to the horizon and is extremely popular with bathers and water sports enthusiasts. Malahide also boasts a marina with some three hundred berths and the only natural inlet along the East Coast. As a result Malahide is a popular destination for visiting yachts from both Ireland and overseas.
The best what you can do when visitng Malahide is just walking as the beauty of the town and the sea make the athmosphere.... :)
