    Siam Thai: Thai Irish Style

by lbhspatriot Written Dec 20, 2008

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Siam is a Thai Restaurant located next to Grand hotel and the Marina, it is one of the best known (and most expensive) restaurants in Malahide area. The food there is fabulous, and the service is quite good. I personally enjoyed the atmosphere and the interior, it is very well decorated. - my fiancee prefered aromatic food served with style.

Favorite Dish: Try one of the curries (massaman or red) and delicous prawns of course!

    Cruzzo: Dine on the Marina

by lbhspatriot Written Dec 20, 2008

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Cruzzo is a cool restaurant located in the Malahide Marina. It is one of the best places I dined in Malahide, with nice interior, comfortable and well organized tables and polite staff. Oh, and I forgot about the VIEW, it is amazing. Dining there seems like you are sitting on a boat just like the one on your right, or left... cool design makes it an interesting place to check out.
The food is pretty good with a great variety to choose from, oh, and not too expensive!

Favorite Dish: Order something a La Carte or one of the specials. I had Carlingford Oysters with red vine vinegar dressing and loved it (I think they are around 11 euro for 6) - for more details check their menu online :)

Gibneys Pub: What a Pub Grub!

by lbhspatriot Written Dec 20, 2008

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Gigneys is a Pub located in the centre of Malahide, always full of locals and tourists who come there often for a tasty and fairly cheap meal. It is a traditional Irish pub, with great music and a historical background (which the owners love to talk about!), it seems that the pub been in Malahide since 1800's and is still a popular meeting spot. I liked the atmosphere of the place, very lively and fun, of course if you come in the evening you will find lot's of people who had just one too many - but hey, this is Ireland, isn't it?

Favorite Dish: Try a traditional irish meal, lamb or steak - the food is tasty and well seasoned. Also, don't forget to grab a Guinness!

    Cape Greko: Authentic Greek food

by dmrtn Written Aug 8, 2005

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Really nice Greek Restaurant near the marina. Don't remember the exact address but its on a corner and upstairs. Lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious!

From the blurb - "Authentic Greek and Cypriot food in a superb mediterranean setting."

Favorite Dish: It was all great. I had some kind of beef stew with Couscous and there couldn't have been more flavour. Good value too.
