After having a good drink and listen good music we went to cuba bar. We got a free stamp and we spent good time there. Very good music to dance. Leave a Comment

ladies room at The Quays by Jennyjump79 I was taken here by two college students I'd met at Monroe's after that pub closed. There was a band playing a mix of classic rock and more modern stuff-- all danceable ("Brown-eyed Girl" comes to mind.) The crowd was largely, but certainly not exclusively, college students and under-35s. There was a cover charge, but it was well worth it to party with a fun crowd and a good band late on a Sunday night.
I'm not really sure... none of us were wearing jeans or sneakers, though. Leave a Comment Theme: Live Music

by orlikins Galwegian bouncers are _unbelievably_ strict. Always bring ID with you, if you're 20-something. Main nightspots are around Eyre Square, Dominic and Eglinton streets. If it turns out that nobody in Galway will let you in, it might be worth your while getting a taxi to the Warwick club in Salthill, cos they'll let in anyone! The only other alternative is to sit in Supermacs chip shop all night sulking or go to some "old-man" pub.
Dress up, there is a lot of competition to get into the pubs. Many a night has been ruined by a stubborn sneaker-wearer. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Central Park. Often referred to as CP or CP's Like it or not it's the busiest nightclub in Galway city. It's always busy, 7 nights per week. This is the only nightclub I've ever been in which is always very busy on a Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night and I mean busy. And these are usually the quiet nights wherever you go. Expect long queues to get in at the weekend. The best night to go in my opinion is Sunday to Wednesday as it's not too busy then - you do have room to move.

GPO night club, CUBA, and Church lane. Galway is a university city, and therefore has a 'college' feel.
Basically anything goes!!!! Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Galway City centre is full of excellent pubs and restaurants, but hardly any nightclubs. You will find the best clubs in Salthill, a posh suburb by the water, just outside Galway. Most locals first go out to a pub in the centre and then continue to Salthill later on.
Ireland is not the place for a formal dress code. Even when going out, people tend to dress rather informal. You will definitely stand out in a suit. Whether that is a good thing or not is for you ro decide. Leave a Comment Theme: Nightclub

if you get there earlier than... 10 i think, you get into the club for free! happy bonus for us! the music was good. not what i was expecting. what i do remember was snow patrol, and other kind of indie alternativish stuff... and then club typicals from hip-hop etc. definitely fun. definitely chaos. definitely blurry. So who can help? For a lads' trip (in their mid-20's) to Galway on April 26th for four days where would be good places to visit, hang out and drink. Places where it won't feel like we're in a German susage party (i.e. a pub or bar full of men standing around sipping their pint of Spitfire ready to pounce on the sight of any fillie that happens to wonder in). by orlikins The Alley is one of _the_ greatest pick-up joints in all of Galway, if not the West! Plenty of fine looking guys and eye candy :) rrrraaaaarrrrr!!! It was about £7 entry at the time.
A mixture of students and twentysomethings. So something glittery and pretty would do for the ladies. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubDirections: Its down an alley (get it?:) off Eyre Square.

by orlikins The GPO is the other big nightclub in Galway. The music is more "indie" than in the Alley. I love that kind of stuff. Its *very* popular with the University students, especially the good-looking ones :)
t-shirt and combats are fine :) Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubDirections: Down by Eglington st
