The Aran Fisherman   Inishmore

The Aran Fisherman, Inishmore

2 Reviews  I must say the same thing about the garlic bread, again alot of cheese and not much garlic stuck on some bagette. I must say however that there was alot of it. There was a kind of burnt tomato in the...

Fish'n'Chips, Fast Food   Galway

Fish'n'Chips, Fast Food, Galway

13 Reviews  Vying for the accolade of the best 'chipper' in Galway with nearby 'McDonaghs' on Quay St, my vote goes to the smaller scale 'Kettle of Fish' on Cross St. I went searching for a decent fish and chip...

Paddy Burke's: clarenbridge: a "michelin" seafood restaurant

by call_me_rhia

From outside it looks like your average country pub with basic but herathy (and healty) meals.. but once you go indise and ask for the menu you'll notice something's not quite matching the "look". This friendly and csy pub and restaurant used to be on the Michelin guide 8and maybe still is). The food is really excellent, and the prices not too bad, considering what you get Anything with crab - they make it delicious: cornets of smoked salmon and crab as a starter for example. Their brochettes of king scallops are also to die for.

Fat Freddy's: Fat Freddy's

by Krumel

The place looks rather cramped, dark and dodgy, and this impression is emphasised by the Fat Freddy's portrait on the signpost, but the food is very great (especially the pizzas). I also quite like the atmosphere in there with its wooden tables, chequered tablecloths and candles. And not to forget the cartoons on the menu.

KILRONAN, Inishmore, Aran Islands:The Aran FishermanWell this isn't the best restaurant, and definitely not the cheapest (Fish & Chips for 12.95 IEP!!! Well I guess logistics are a bit complicated on the island)...but it's about the only real restaurant there! Catch of the day.

Moran's Oyster House: Ireland's Best Oysters!

This restaurant dates back over 300 years and is world famous for their seafood. Native oysters on the half shell served with brown bread.
