Murphy's Bar, Dingle
Murphy's Pub is one of the most famous places in Dingle Town, along with Dick Macks, O'Flaherty's, MacCarthy's and The Drochead Beag Pub. You will hit them all when you spend the night in Dingle.
Murphy's is down by the seafront. Very comfortable is you get a seat early. Eion Duignan on the uillean pipes with his back to us with Blue Hat. John Brown on the guitar.
You must go out and enjoy the people and music. Dingle's Pubs are the best I've experienced for Music and Craic.
Dress Code: Casual
Of the three pubs we visited during our stay there, Murphys was probably the classiest. A solid meal with woods and red velvet. It was the start of night 2 and then off with the rest of the crowd to Dick Mack's and then the Little Bridge. Just follow the muscians and you stay in the midst of the craic all the night.
Dress Code: Everyone seemed pretty casually dressed.
The wildest bar back in 1990. As you can see from the picture... we had lots of fun here back then. Being on a tight budget we had one pint per night .. which was enough because our budget was too tight for food ;)
Dress Code: Dresses and Mullets ;)
