Dingle Peninsula, Killarney

Favorite thing: visit the peninsulas of Iveragh and Dingle. Both are equally beautiful, although Iveragh tends to get overcrowded in summer, when all tourists insist on driving along the Ring of Kerry together in a single file! Dingle doesn't have this (yet, but I fear it will soon).

Fondest memory: One of the many fine moments was the tour we made along Slea Head, Dingle's (and even Europe's) westernmost point. The old monuments like the Gallarus oratory (pic) and the spectacular setting make this my fav spot in Ireland. I try to come back all the time! And take it from me: it's great fun in any weather - which is a good thing as it does rain quite a lot here ;-)
