Walk down alongside St Michaels church towards the river and you'll come across this strange assortment of pyramidical looking buildings. In fact they are pyramids donated along with the slab holding "Isis" by the Egyptians. Designed by James Scanlon and effected by local men they also represent the beehive huts found around the Ring of Kerry.
For a small village there are quite a few things to do in Sneem, colourful shops and pubs, the churches and also the "pyramids of Sneem".
On the way round the Ring there are some lovely views out to sea at Hogs Head and along the Dingle Bay at Rossbehy point, near Glenbeigh.
After the church and the pub, the bridge is possibly the next best thing to see. Hold on to your hair here, especially on those windy days.
