situated on the waterfront, full length windows give amazing panoramic views of the Ballinskelligs Bay and summer sunset is a sight to behold. the food is execellent, specialising in high quality seafood with, sourced from local areas but cooked to a typical parisian manner with rich sauces that enhance the natural flavours. a true dining experience!

Golf is one of the prime sports in Ireland and it can be played year round in Waterford. According to the websites there is a statue of Tiger Woods here and also one to Payne Stewart

Golf at Waterville was first introduced by the men who arrived here to work the first transAtlantic cable relaying messages between North America and Europe, it was the crudest kind of golf and generally only played in the summer when the grasses died down

Links golf combines sand dunes gorse and native grasses, firm fairways, sod faced bunkers and subtle putting surfaces all intertwined by the ever changing weather.

Smart casual dress is essential in the clubhouse. It must be clean, neat and tidy in keeping with the high standards of the clubhouse.

Soft spikes are encouraged but not mandatory.

Equipment: All guests of Waterville House have priority access to the Links as special tee times have been set aside. Tee times may also be arranged through a Golf Tour Operator as part of your Ireland package. In addition you may call, fax or email the Links administrative office in Ireland.
