Oxegen,is Heineken sponsored music festival held since 2004, sponsored by Heineken. Previously it was hoste by Guinness (called Witness) but now the Dutch Beer took over completely :)
It is held annually in July.
Since 2008 the festival is expanded to three days and takes place at Punchestown Racecourse. You have to be 17 to enter and tickets are dear but it all is great fun as many peformers come to Ireland each year, the festival has attracted such stars as: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Eyed Peas, Faithless, Green Day, Amy Winehouse and irish The Pogues.

The Millennium Maze is located in Ballinafagh Farm and was grown to mark the Millenium, it is designed to shape as an irish Cross and covers about an acre of paths. It is a family spot as it has a picnic area, pets corner and a mini golf course. Fun for everyone as they say.

Coolcarrigan is a hidden oasis in Naas, I was suprised that something like this could be found on a farming estate. It contains exepctional parkland, avenues overlooked by trees and a lake.
The gardes are a host to a great collection of shrubs and trees in Ireland (I can compare it to Avondale on this field). If you like nature it is the perfect place to wander off and enjoy your day.
Have in mind though that this place is open to visitors only on appointment!
