 Kilkenny was a last minute addition to our trip, decided as we were flying over the Atlantic, in lieu of stopping at Powerscourt near Dublin which I figured I'd visit while I was in Dublin (I didn't).... 

County Kilkenny

 We spent a day in County Kilkenny, mostly in the town of Kilkenny. Kilkenny is a great town, with the castle and plenty of great bars and restaurants. And it sure puts on a great sunset too!!
