Treaty Stone on a wet miserable day

Miscellaneous: As like most of Ireland the weather can change in a flash. May to August are generally the best times for sun but please be advise that this is when the kids have their holidays so things may be a little more busy than usual. Just make sure that you have a coat at hand should the weather change.

Luggage and bags: A soft side bag that is expandable, especially if you tend to pick up books, CDs and sweaters!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: During the summer I found most places informal. You need a sweater for the evenings (of course you can buy one at Christy's). Jeans or Khaki pants seemed acceptable almost everywhere. A jacket is recommended for attending classical music concerts, although jeans and shirts have been spotted at concert halls.
