Brilliant location on Main Street, Blackrock on the seafront.
The seafood chowder starter is a meal in itself and the hot seafood platter is fab!
The sister restaurant "The Brake" is a few doors away and is more popular, serving a similar menu, but The Clermont has a much better ambiance.
Food specialities are seafood and steaks with open turf fires and cosy atmosphere.
Now, isn't that something???
Those who have seen my Belfast page & have looked under "Nightlife" have come accross this picture before...
My friend Conor (left in the pic with the mandolin) lives in Blackrock & he has a Music Shop right on the Main Street which looks accros the shore.
If you are in the area, take a peek into his store - he has a great assortment of all kinds of good Irish Instruments!
And: don't forget to give him a hug from me ;o)))
PS: I think right now they have auditions for a female singer... are you tempted???
