The Venue Bar & Restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the B&B, and we were not disappointed.It is located at the back of a very cool old pub, at the top of the hill in Strandhill, and has fabulous Atlantic Views.Service was friendly and efficent and the food was tasty. We had a delicious meal of fish and vegies and plenty of chips!!Oh, and a bottle of Chardy to wash it all down, Australian of course!!!!

A: For starters, Sligo is definitely NOT a city :) it would be best to rent a car for the day as public transport in the north west of Ireland is not great.
