This place is fine for meeting but to be honest I would'nt be too keen on staying here for the rest of the night. The music is alternative and not something you can really get up and dance to! Drink is reasonable, dress casual! The smoking area is cool !

Gurten is a small village quite far south in Sligo. Many of you will never go there (unless you go to the Coleman Music Centre!) but just in case you do here is the name of a bar tha has a lovely traditional atmosphere and serves some really tasty food for a pub in the middle of nowhere. Teach Murrays is on the main road that runs through Gurteen, it has a car park next door. The pub has two bars, has regular entertainment and serves a lunchtime and early evening menu. They will do teas and coffees if the black stuff is not the tipple for you and they will also rustle up a plate of sandwiches if you want that instead of something cooked. This is a nice clean bar with friendly staff. Well worth a stop if you are passing through Gurteen.
Dress Code: No dress code to come to this bar.
Don´t forget to go to one of the numerous pubs all around the town. Have a Guinness which is the famous Stout beer in Ireland. It is popular all around the world and produced using traditional brewing materials like malt, hops, roast and barley flakes.
