Clonmel is one of the busiest and largest towns in Tipperary so it is no surprise that it offers some of the county's best eating and drinking spots. The town's pubs and clubs don't even begin to compare with ones found in Ireland's bigger towns and cities but there are a few nice spots. Mulcahy's on Gladstone St. is one of the biggest and busiest pubs but if it's a quieter place you're after, Tierney's on O' Connell St. is a quaint but stylish Irish Pub. Eldon's on Dillon St. is another nice pub for a few drinks while O'Keefe's Bar is where to head for late drinks and live music.

Ireland modern day poet comes from Nenagh.
Ask a local if he's around, chances are you'll get an answer - "Yeah, I heard he was in ...... last night"
Who knows you might go there and pop in on an inpromptu sing-song
