Terryglass, Terryglass, Ireland
Satisfaction: Very Good
Good for: Couples
When we was in Ireland last summer, we found this wonderful little, and it is little, place in a small village on the River Shannon, which we sailed along. Paddy's Bar & Bistro, Terryglass, Lough Derg, County Tipperary, Ireland.
The second night we were there, we had dinner there again on the way back, many other had also discovered the place, so we had to wait a while for a table. But that turned out great, as we sat at the bar and chatted with the locals and with some folks from New Zealand. All in all, the music, the food and the wine and most of all the people make for a great atmosphere. The Baileys Irish Cream Cheesecake is must. We will be back!
Favorite Dish: The Homemade Vegetable Soup may sound very mundane, but this one is perfect. Maybe it was the cold wet day, maybe it was the homemade brown soda bread that came with it. But this soup was outstanding, it hit the spot and it was really homemade.
