Worth a stop for a few minutes at least to think about the harsh reality of Ireland's past, and how it affected not only her own future generations, but those as well of many other nations.
Located only a few km outside of Dungarvan Town, on the Cork road. Look for signs, it's located next to the pub "An Seanachai".
This pub could have just as easily fallen under "restaurants" or "nightlife" as it does here under "off the beaten path". It's a gorgeous pub located only about 2-3 km outside of Dungarvan town just off the N25 on the Cork road. Just follow the signs, it's easy to find. Yes, tour buses do stop here, but the sheeple are hearded towards the rear dining room. The food is good, and the decor is cozy. I believe there are elements of the pub that go back well over 300 years. It is located right next to a famine graveyard, so there is a good bit of history right outside the door. Grab a pint and a seat near the fire. Live trad on weekends. Enjoy!
