1 Review Check out the 'Tholsel', (toll stall) on the corner of Quay Street and South Street. This building can be shown beyond the palmtrees in this photo. I was surprised to find palm trees growing here at shore of the river Barrow at New Ross, but they do! I'm still amazed.

I only stayed in New Ross for one night. It is a quaint little town located near the Rosslare Harbour.
The small town, New Ross stands on the River Barrow, just 25 Km from the open sea. The port of New Ross have been an important inland port since the 13th. century.
New Ross is a quint little town between Waterford and Limerick. Not far from town is the Hook Head lighthouse and penninsula and the JFK park and homestead.
