Fondest memory: Scenario: Breakfast in the B&B (see Tourist Trap!). 4 Germans around a dirty table. Looking forward to breakfast after a cold sleepless night. Loud noise (fire alarm?)from the kitchen.
The cups are upside down and so dirty they stick to the saucers. Oli decides to go upstairs and clean them. In that moment Mrs Dunne comes from the kitchen with the tea - ready to pour it into our cups. No cups!
Good that I am a good liar in situations like this. I say 'He's upstairs getting some medicine' (yeh, right! For all four of us!).
We finish breakfast as quickly as possible, bacon was turned into stone. We better run ....

Favorite thing: Drive the old Military Road up in Wicklow Mountains and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Favorite thing: GLENDALOUGH IS A MONASTIC COMPLEX IN A REMOTE VALLEY IN WICKLOW. IT WAS FOUNDED BY ST.KEVIN IN THE 6TH CENTURY AND BECAME A CENTRE OF LEARNING, REFUGE AND CREATIVITY IN EARLY MEDIEVAL TIMES.
CELTIC CROSSES, A ROUND TOWER, CATHEDRAL, ROMANESQUE REMAINS,ST KEVIN'S KITCHEN, THE TWO LAKES, UPPER AND LOWER...MAKES IT ONE OF HTE MOST IMPRESSIVE MONASTIC SITES IN IRELAND!

Favorite thing: hike around the Wicklow Mountains National Park and let your feet be washed by the waters of the nearby lake (even if it is cold!)
