The Heathers restaurant is a pleasant place to pile into for lunch after a bracing walk in Glendalough. The food is solid and tasty and service is always given with a smile. Have gone there many times on various trips to Glendalough and always been happy with what I got.

Poppies serve good, simple food in convivial surroundings. Their coffee is great and the sweets aren't bad either :-) I've always eaten well there. Only problem is that at times it can be hard to get a seat :(

This has been the only Restaurant we have tried , because we have had a short stay of one day .
It is a very small restaurant for low budget TOURIST .
We have eaten our dinner mostly in those kinds of restaurants . It has been nearly everywhere a good choice .

Small town , it is the main City in that region . But I think it is not so beautiful for a longer stay . The surrounding area is much better . So you can use Wicklow as a base for exploring the rest...
