A great place to get away from all the bars providing you with dull music from the radio, especially the local station Q102 (absolutely dreadful!) or Karaoke and two-piece bands (shudder). It's not the biggest bar but nice. Unfortunately the pool room is no more, but now they have live music there as well. The punters are a very mixed crowd of all ages. On sunny days everyone usually sits outside on the foot path enjoying their pints. They provide entertainment most nights of the week with DJ's playing cool and chilling sets and even the occasional punk/rock mix, various live bands and singer/songwriters. You even get political discussions in there as well - the bar is named after the famous revolutionary after all). The food is good and cheap as well.
Dress Code: Be yourself - no snooty bouncers here turning you away because you don't conform to the 'norm'.
