C'est La Vie: COOL & HOT

by KristaB

One evening my friends took me to see the Douglas night life scene.First we went to C'est La Vie bar, very popular place. Many tall large women dressed in tiny clothes. I guess it's a genetic thing - brave and resistant to cold - as Vikings were. After that, we went to Hilton night club, and it was completely packed, I wanted to dance, but it was almost impossible. The music was good - variety of pop and rock hits from different decades.

Good little bar with a small dance floor. Everyone very friendly and joined in even with complete strangers.Drinks prices reasonable, mainly chart music, mainly younger people but all miexd well casual

Colours nightclub at the Hilton: Colours

At the moment this seems to be the in pace to go.Went on a friday night and it was packed - all ages. The music was generally good (although the Abba went on a bit) and was a good mix of old and newish. drinks prices not too bad and lots of honeyz.Went again on saturday night and the music was better and not quite so packed.Went again on sunday and there were two live sets - both pretty good Quite informal - got in with jeans, LOUD shirt and casual shoes

Jak's Pub: Jak's Pub

by orlikins

Jaks' would be the perfect place to sit down with a pint and a plate of chips and watch sport all day. They even have mini-tv's perched on the beer-pumps! It's a bright, airy pubs, with a late 20s -30's crowd. Smart casual

Cheap drink (always a plus) but it's full of posers. Music and the good-looking-guy quota were pretty good though. As little as legally possible for the girls.Guys - spike and gel that hair and iron your coolest shirt.

Quids Inn: CHEAP DRINK! ;-) at Quid's Inn

by orlikins

Quid's Inn prides itself on selling the cheapst drink on the Island....a pint of beer is a measly pound. However the entry fee is £5 at weekends Smart casual
