Several bus routes serve Port Erin, including a very useful service which runs regularly to and from Douglas via the airport.

There is no bus station as such. Buses terminate and start from a small shelter (with clean-enough toilets) on Bridson Street, just a couple of minutes' walk form the village centre.

You can find pdfs of bus routes and timetables on the IOM government website below.

    Steam railway to Douglas

by Pauldelabar Updated Nov 15, 2005

Victorian steam trains run a scheduled service between Port Erin and Douglas.

Once part of a three line system, this is the only steam railway portion that is still in operation.

Electric and horse drawn trams still run from Douglas, however, to Ramsey and along the promenade respectively.
