Bomba LakeGorgeous artificial little lake (just 7km in length) in the heart of Abruzzo in Majella National Park. It is strategically positioned between sea (25 min drive) and mountains (1h drive to Italy's third largest resort of Roccaraso) and if offering multitude of opportunities for relaxing holiday. The scenery can not be more dramatic and interesting - imagine high mountains on the background, gentle hills in Sangro Valley full of olive groves and vineyards and lush vegetation of National Park. It is not easy to say what you can not do in Bomba, there are excellent facilities for cycling (try tip along the shore from Isole Verde to Il Soffio on the other side of the lake and further to Villa Santa Maria), horse riding, trekking.
