A museum illustrating the work of the accomplished ceramicists and masters of the applied arts, the Chini family. Especially creative work in the so-called `Liberty' style of Austrian influence at the beginning of the 20th century.
To see here are umbrella stands, stained glass windows, porcelain stools, plates and roundels. They did some pretty big commissions for Art Nouveau hotels in Florence, that might be a good place to see more of their work.
They were also good imitators of Renaissance designs, especially the Luca della Robbia type porcelains to be found in altarpieces across the Mugello.

There are miles of well marked hiking paths in this area, but I would recommend having a trail map. We had a brochure from the web site below. You can walk from town to town or just enjoy the mountainous terrain.
