Every year, at the end of september and the beginning of october an interesting food market is held at Domplatz (the Cathedral square). Here you can see lots of small houses where you can buy various kinds of bread and sweets made by bakeries located in South Tyrol. You can also sample some bread. There are ordinary bread and sweet ones as well.

Some students (soon to be bakers) will show you how to make bread. You can ask them advices about this matter as my mother did.

In the center of the square there are various long tables where you can sit and have a typical meal or a drink. This is a help your self service. You have to buy your food and drinks at some stalls.
