Villa Rifesser is a magnificent 500 year old villa located midway between the main city square and the train station. The architecture is characteristic of south Tirol Renaissance era. The corner towers are topped with very interesting steep conical roofs. The roof tiles have multiple colors.
I could not find any details about this villa. However, the architecture and character are fascinating.

Austrian border. Cities in the Trentino Alto Adage region are known by there Italiano name ( Bressanone ) as well as their German name ( Brixen ). German is the language most commonly heard spoken on the streets of Bressanone.
Bressanone is a beautiful, clean, and prosperous, with one of the finest city squares on the planet. This photo of the pristine Riva Isara was shot just outside of the city square. In the distance are the magnificent Dolomiti mountains. It is difficult to understand why more tourists do not visit this outstanding bi-cultural city.
