Favorite Dish: A popular dish - and one wjhich i tried - was Gnocchi alla sorrentina - pasta dumplings in a shrimp and lemon sauce - simply delicious. and not too exopesive for Amalfi prices - about 6-7 euros.

The Piazza dei Dogi, still called Piazza dei Ferrari, because there were smith’s shops, is an ideal place to have a meal - there are several cafes here all of which served good food.
