From the Molo Beverello(main harbour) in Naples, it will cost $15 euros for a oneway trip to Capri. The ride takes about an hour and makes for a good time to snooze.

These are the taxis on Capri - slightly stretched convertable cars (always white) with large blinds to protect you from the sun covering the back seats.

The best way to go around in Capri is to walk.
But if you have to climb until Anacapri you can easily take a minibus or a taxi (more espensive)

Take the funicolare up from Marina Grande to Capri e Ritomo for a bit of shopping and some wonderful views.

Not just any funicular, but the one sung about in the famous song 'Funiculi, Funicular'! Capri's it takes you to the central piazzetta and this is the place to see and be seen.

The Unico Capri ticket let's you load cash for the funiculaire, bus etc. onto 1 ticket.
It also helps you avoid the long lines at the funicalaire booth if you buy early.

To get there I took the Jetboat from Sorrento, which was about a 35 minute ride.
Apparently it is equally easy to catch it from Naples.
