Il Fornaretto is a bakery with some seatings.
Here you can find a large selection of pastries; several cold and hot food as bread with various fillings et al. At this bakery you can buy cold beverages as well.
There are even some beautiful cakes on sale here.
Favorite Dish: I liked much a pastry with ricotta ( a kind of soft cheese) and a croissant with Nutella. There was a lot of Nutella inside!
This confectionery has a good choice of pastries, but I only went there to have a couple of scoops of ice cream which I liked it very much.
I have to advice you that ice creams and other food here will cost you much more if you sit at one of the tables of this cafe.
Favorite Dish: At Dolce è La Vita they have various ice cream flavours. I liked much the lemon one.
For my money, the best food in Ischia is made by Ciccio Buono and his son, Guido, at Da Ciccio in Ischia Ponte. Amazingly simple dishes, cooked in the most traditional ways, using fresh tomatoes, garlic, chilli, capers and olive oil and, of course, the local catch from the island. Fish and seafood are dominant on the menu, as are beautiful fresh pasta dishes. Ciccio himself is knowledgable, friendly and chatty, and will go out of his way to make sure you have a really special meal.
Favorite Dish: Fresh pasta with tomatoes, garlic, chilli, olive oil and shell fish is hard to beat.
It is a wooden house on the seaside. There are tables outside and inside (very few it is better to make a reservation). The view outside is more than special!
Favorite Dish: Spaghetti with clams and a fabulous bottle of fresh white wine Greco di Tufo or local white wine.
the ambience couldnt be better, practically sitting on the beach, watching the boats, outdoor cafe on a beautiful sunny day. drinking house red wine and eating fresh anchovie pizza, does it get any better then this?
Favorite Dish: have to have the pizza and the wine.
