    Day Ticket

This is a day ticket for one person. It is valid for two funicular rides and/or unlimited number of bus rides for Capri, Marina Grande, Marina Piccola, Anacapri, Faro and Grotta Azzura.
Take some infos from the tourist offices. We did it at the Piazzeta Umberto.

    Getting to Capri

With arrivals to Capri only coming by way of water, you have limited options on how to arrive. My friends and I stayed in Positano and took the ferry from there. We decided to take the hydrofoil for the return trip as we were extremely tired after all of the day's activities.

The ferry ride over cost 6 Euro and took about an hour.

The hydrofoil cost 11 Euro and took about half the time.

One thing to remember in high season, is that if you are making a day trip to Capri and plan to return to the Amalfi Coast, you should immediately buy your return ticket in Marina Grande as soon as you get off the boat.

    Capri Buses

    by Jmill42 Written Mar 23, 2004

We used the Capri bus system for transport to all places on the island. We found it to be very reliable, with many buses per hour, so that you never have to wait very long. The drivers were used to tourists and all joked with us and were very pleasant.

Tickets to anywhere on the island are only a few Euro. Buy at the stations or on the bus.

This chairlift commutes vice-versa from Anacapri up to highest point of the island (Solaro-589 m high). Enjoy the panoramic beauty of the whole bay during the rides.
