Hotel La Corricella: Quiet, great location and comfortable
gmg61 Says:
This charming hotel is located at the edge of the scenic fishermen's village of Corricella, with a great view over the village itself and the sea, with the old borough of "Terra Murata" just over your head. The view is majestic and is best appreciated at sunset and...
Ristorante Gorgonia: Fresh fish and nice view
gmg61 Says:
You'll eat fish that comes fresh from the fisherman's boat moored two metres away from the tables outdoor where you seat and enjoy the food and the wonderful landscape. This restaurant serves mainly fish plates, we loved the grilled fish and spaghetti with sea urchins. Other...
Enoteca Peccati di Gola: Wine Tasting...
mariocibelli Says:
'Sins of the Throat' wine bar is quite nice, for a tasting of local wines. Gives you a good idea as the wines in the Campania region are very different from classic Tuscan and Piemontese wines most people are familiar with.
Prochyta Bar: Breakfast with the Yacht Crowd
mariocibelli Says:
Great outdoor cafee just off of the port area in the Marina Chiaiolella. Fantastic pastries, especially the morning brioches v(four times the size of the ones in Florence) loaded with lemon cream! Not to mention succulent sfogliatelle that increase the size of your thighs...
La Pergola: Must try!
destinycm Says:
Procida is FULL of restaurants, bars and pizza... Many have okay food, not great service and are trying way too hard to be something they are not. There is one restaurant that has an amazing upscale back yard feel (mainly because it is someone's back yard!) Great food, great...
Ristorante Osteria del Gallo: Not the best...
mariocibelli Says:
You know, why is one place great and the other just so-so. We usually say you cant eat poorly in Naples. Well, even here it is not bad, just not up to the very high Napolitano standard. Food and service were good, just the place was empty!! Antipastos were...
Ristorante Pizzeria 36: Pizza with the Locals
mariocibelli Says:
Very good local place with simple seafood based dishes and a variety of great Pizzas.Pizza Margherita for 3 Euros!
Favorite dish was the Spaghetti alle vongole verace (with clams) for 7 Euros.Pizza was great as well.
Procida Hall: Cinema
Only game in town if you want to go to the movies. During summer film changes every day with a showing at 830 and 1030 in the evening. Looks like a catering hall from the outside, that they are preparing for the Abramovitch bar-mitzvah at any moment.

Pozzouli/Napoli to Procida
mariocibelli Says:
You can leave from Naples from three different ports to arrive in Procida.Napoli Beverello - the closest, just 5 minutes by taxi from the station.Napoli Mergellina - you can get there by train or metro, less traffic than Beverello.Pozzouli - you can get there on the metro....
Microtaxi
mariocibelli Says:
For long distance and with luggage, Microtaxis are a great alternative. Also, they can navigate the narrow streets much better than the normal taxis and you are not sandwiched like on the bus (which at night it is easy to miss your stop!)
Food Glorious Food

Fish and pizza, can't go wrong. The pizza margherita is always good. You can be shot in Naples for making bad pizza!! Antipastis are wonderful too, these salads are great!
