The bithplace of Pizza Magharita, but to my taste really overpriced and overrated restaurant. We had much better pizza in small and cheap places in Napoli. Pizza has been the food of the simple people and does in my opinion not really fit to a fanzy place like this.

A new restaurant in Naples, a bit away from the city centre.
The name "Viaggio" (means: journey) tells you all: the concept is to serve cuisine of all italian regions as if you are travelling through italy.
Good modern cuisine that follows the traditional recipes but adds a touch of lightness without loosing any taste.
There is also a small shop for typical and bio products and a wine shop
Favorite Dish: Ravioli ripieni di melanzane e provola affumicata
Ricciola scottata al pepe nero

The above restaurant is probably the worst I've ever been to in the whole of Italy. Not only they single you out as a stupid tourist and give you the 'special' menu with the extra high prices, they will also serve you some of the worst food the italian cuisine (if one can call it so...) has on offer. A definite no-go in Naples!
Favorite Dish: Definitely no favorites here...

We visited Naples in November, 2005. Went by the Cafe Gamberus after the opera. What a wonderful cap to a great evening. Had a cocktail, and just people watched, and later on had a coffee and desert. This is a must on your trip to Bella Napoli.
Favorite Dish: Coffee and desserts.

Molto Bene!!!
A great experience for Napolitan dining with the real Napolitan pizza baked fresh from the Napolitan oven not to mention the many, many things that I gnawed to death...
I got lucky coz my beau's brother, Mauri works in the restaurant and treated us for the fiesta...
Favorite Dish: Don't miss the Napolitan pizza as mentioned, the mozarella cheese, the wine and a lot, lot more....

This nice cafe is in Piazza Bellini, a pedestrian area where you can also visit the ancient greek walls of the city.
It's a meeting point for the cultural elite of the city. In a comfortable environment you can have a drink or enjoy a light lunch while browsing the books that are on display, taking a look at the art expo that are frequently held and listening to nice music.
The bar is open 10 am to 3 am

I love Gelato in Italy!! So ofcourse, I found this Chocolate gelateria in the corner!! Nice owner who gave me tastes and tastes of different kinds of gelatos. Their Chocolate gelato is so real chocolaty, I cant describe it, but you can taste the cacao in your mouth. Now I have to warn you that you have to be a chocolate lover to come here. Because for some people, it may be a bit too much chocolatey!!! It was heaven for me and my boyfriend. So I got myself two scoops. I had a gelato with a native naples fruit in it. I don't know what it is called because before I could speak to ask what the name is, I was mouthful of gelato!!

Take a coffe in Gambrinus, in Plebiscito square, it is not a real restaurant, but it is the most elegant coffe in the city, and I must admitt that their coffe is excellent.
Yes coffes are not all the same, they can really taste different even in the same bar, depending on the hand making them, a good water, anyway helps a lot to get a good coffe.
