We took a boat ride from Pisciotta over to the grottos in Palinuro. The caves were illuminated by the bright blue water which captured the light from outside and reflected into the caverns. It looked as though they were lit from below, it was amazing. There are also interesting rock formations, arches and windows in the side of the craggy mountain that bordered the sea.

When I was living in Pisciotta and we wanted to go to a nice sandy beach (instead of one covered in little stones and sea glass) this is where we would come. Beautiful sandy beaches to relax on, only a few miles from Pisciotta.
