Fondest memory: Square, white and pink Moorish-style houses set in luxurious gardens, descending in steep steps down the mountain side to the bay and dominated by the splendid dome covered in polychrome majolica of the church of S. Maria Assunta. Off-shore are the Galli Islands, legendary home of sirens who lured sailors to their doom.

Favorite thing: The small streets and alleys, the flights of steps are characteristic of Positano with a wide variety of small shops, typical workshops, ateliers, and cafes.

Favorite thing: The winding street we walk down - via Pasitea - is the backbone of the town and will lead us to the little Flavio Gioia square.

Favorite thing: I used to get off the bus at the highest part of the town and then walk down , admiring the views and the streets lined with shops, boutiques, cafes and small art galleries.

Favorite thing: The buildings are so incrusted in the rocks that you can hardly distinguish them from the distance.
Positano looks, this way, like a jewel shining under the sunlight.

Favorite thing: Positano has some beautiful streets, none more so than Via dei Mulini, which, although full of tourist shops at one end, is very quiet at its northern end.

Favorite thing: The best views of Positano are from the sea. At a short distance from the shore you can clearly make out the town's distinctive look. From here the houses almost appear to be part of the cliffs.
