This is an internet cafe by day and a fun place to party by night. It's located in the center of town in what seems like a basement. Just follow the arrows on the ground to find it....
Some nights they have live bands.

Our last night in Positano we went out with two other couples we met on our trip. We had a lot of fun although the food was overpriced and nothing fantastic. The club was a blast and the decor was pretty cool. For some reason all my pictures came out blurry, but you'll get the idea.

This is a restaurant by the beach. Its one of the few places that stay open semi late. You can eat on the patio close to the beach and there is someone usually playing music. There is not alot of night life in Positano. Its very quiet and peaceful at night.

This is a bar with the most beautiful garden of orange trees and colourful flowers. They serve granita ( half way between ice cream and sorbet) in about ten different flavours, with or without whipped cream. At night they have live music and the candlelight makes this a truly magical place.

This place is great! It's located inside a cliff. Plays great music and has free internet. What more can you ask for? Great ambiance and a lot of fun for cocktails and dancing. This place is definitely not cheap, expect to pay around 10 euro for a beer. Something has to pay for that free internet....
Dress Code: I don't think they have a dress code, but most people dress to impress.

Music on the Rocks is the largest club in Positano and *the* place to go for dancing. Located on the south shore of the beach, the club is located in a large, round building that is lit up all night long.
The downside here is that the drinks are expensive (10 euro for a beer!). Later in the evening, there is also a 10 euro cover charge. However, the music is great and the crowd is young and fun. We heard the same mix of techo, hip-hop and popular club music we hear at clubs in the USA.
Music on the Rocks has an open-air quality (no windows, just open walls that look out over the sea) which is very inviting. Surrounding the dance floor are sofas and chairs for relaxing and checking out the scene. From the beach, you can hear the music playing all night long.
Dress Code: There is no formal dress code, but most people are dressed to impress.

When we were first told that there were only 2 main dance clubs in Positano...we pretty much were writing off any sort of serious partying during our 2 week stay. Much to our surprise, during our first visit to Music on the Rocks and hearing the soulful sounds of their resident "Piano Man," Claudio Fiori....we were quickly addicted! During the week nights, Claudio entertains the crowd with everything from Italian love songs (Umberto Tozzi, Zucchero) to classics by Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and even Little Richard! He definitely knows how to get the crowd going.
On weekends this place turns into a full-fledged night club equipped with high energy House and Techno-spinning DJs. DJ Max is a popular spin doctor amongst the locals there.
We soon became regular patrons to this place and paying the 10 Euro cover (which includes one drink) was well worth it!
The club is interestingly set inside a cliff and the whole decor is built inside the cavern. It's owned by a Danish/Italian family who live in the gorgeous villas up above the club. The operation completely shuts down at the end of October and they move everything out at that time to avoid getting wiped out by the crashing waves that hit in the winter.
Dress Code: People dress from casual, beach attire, to dressy evening resort attire! Music on the Rocks offers an elegant ambience, but no strict dress code applies.

During our stay in Positano we met a couple from Michigan who just returned from a week's stay in the Isle of Capri. They convinced us that we need to experience the nightlife in Capri at least once before we leave the area! The recommended hot spot and local celebrity hangout is the "Number Two" night club. Capri is a haven for American and European celebrities and they frequent this nightclub regularly.
The couple told us that just that week they were there, Mariah Carey was in town and went to the club with her full entourage. She took over the place and the diva demanded that ONLY her songs be played! (Come se dice "b-i-o-t-c-h" en Italiano?)
When Mariah is NOT in town, the club spins some cool house and techno dance music. Don't get there before 2am, though....the place doesn't seem to be jumpin til after that time.
Dress Code: Dressy club attire was popular at this club

If you're in the mood for casual drinks at a fun, late night spot in Positano, then Easy Pub Disco Bar would be your kind of place! Actually, you're kind of limited in choices in this town, so really....Easy Pub is the ONLY one of its kind!! There's a DJ who spins top 40 mixes and on certain nights they have "Salsa Night" and offer free Salsa lessons!
The best part about Easy Pub....besides being the local HOT SPOT where you can run into the same guy that waited on your table a few hours ago.....is the manager, Roberto. He was the friendliest guy in town! Always greeting you with a smile and always knowing your first name! I guess he's kind of like the "Sam Malone" of Positano (although Sam could never fit a pair of Armani jeans perfectly the way Roberto can!)
Easy Pub is closed Mondays and Tuesdays and is busiest during the weekends. Once the tourists find out about this joint....the place gets PACKED!
Dress Code: Dress code is very casual. Just wear your comfortable dancing shoes!
