Fondest memory: anyway judging from Maaike's and Tim's smiles to simply enjoy the waves of the sea here doesn't seem so disdainful... and soon after the pay beach camps there is a free beach... in high season you could have to excogitate a way to place your towel... and pass through the "Arcobaleno" beach camp to reach it.

Fondest memory: an idea for nightlife not only in Deiva but in any camping could be playing Yahtzee, expecially if you are in the Dutch ghetto as I nicknamed it ;-), but in a tender way as it was really pleasant to be there and I'm really, really happy that Maaike, who won the game, introduced it to me...

Fondest memory: maybe parents find it a little bit less thrilling but it can be relaxing and the Camping Valdeiva from the point of view of me as guest of guests in it seemed a good base in this area...

Fondest memory: to be honest there is not much you can do in Deiva unless you want to enjoy its sea and its sandy beach as the town is a small one with a tiny supermarket, a few shops where to buy postcards, stationery, some souvenirs or toys - the toy shop which was my paradise as a kid is still there and exactly as it was years and years ago, there at the bottom of the stairs which bring to the promenade... in the pic part of the promenade and the beach camp of my childhood...

Favorite thing: When Chiara (VT Pollon) visit us at the camping, she told us she really like to see Deiva Marina because she spend there the holidays with her parents when she was a child.
The distance from the camping to the centre was about 3 km and about a 45 minutes walk, so we decide to take the bus that came regular at the different campings to transport the tourists to the centre.
Hubby and kids spend most of the time at the beach, while Chaira and I looked for places that she remembered from the times she spend her holiday here.
I loved her enthusiasm, and was very happy she had such a good time.
It was great spending the afternoon with her in Deiva Marina, thank you very much Chiara!

Favorite thing: Waiting at the station for the bus that takes us back to the camping.
This part of Italy has a mild climate, palm trees can grow here.

Favorite thing: The stroll and the swimming made us all very thirsty, so we decide to sit on a terrace at Deiva.
It was great to sit in the shadow for a while, cause it was really hot that day.
