Dueville, Vicenza, and most of northern Italy are well known for bicycle riding. It's very common to see a 70 year old woman riding her bicycle to the grocery store to pick up her daily food.

This little shop in Dueville is a place not well known to those outside of this small town, but you can find some great bicycles here. Those into cycling know that Italy produces some of the world's best bicycles. Campagnolo, the cycling component giant has it's headquarters in Vicenza as well.
What to buy: You can pick up a swee De Rosa here for about half of what you'd pay in the US
What to pay: $1,500 for a nice ride

Address: Dueville
Favorite thing: I really enjoyed the local people, as they were all really friendly. I was the only American living in this little town, and it was a great experience. I remember going into this little cafe for Cappucino quite often. The lady who ran the place was really sweet, and even let me take her porcelan cups and saucers home for a "to go" order.
Fondest memory: Our friendly neighbors and the Huge dog next door.
