The restaurant is located on the hills of Bologna, quite big and with a variety of tipical disches from the menu. It's a good choise for who wants to organize a great meeting!
The design and the decorations of this restaurant are warm and confortable.
Favorite Dish: I ate "tigelle" ! They are like little flatted sandwiches where you can put every kind of sauce or vegetables or meat, it depends on your taste :-)

A charming restaurant situated just outside Bologna and into the countryside up in the hills. The decor inside is very quaint with a touch of oldy worldy feel to it. The service is excellent and the choice of menu is quite big. They cater for larger parties with reduced prices. The surroundings and ambience of the place makes it a perfect location for get-togethers or even a romantic evening for two.

of course the restaurant of the lunch of the meeting:
La Felina
Favorite Dish: we ate:
pasta with a sauce of tomato, bacon and 'erbette';
'tortelloni', spinach kneaded pasta filled with cheese and herb;
'lasagne';
then a real wide choice of local salami and cold pork meats and 'crescenza', a local cheese, with 'crescentine', a kind of risen dough cooked in hot oil and served warm;
in the end a choice of mouthfuls of yummy handmade cakes.
I was forgetting... we ended the meal with a 'sorbetto', coffee and 'limoncello'

I can't reccommend a single restaurant even if we had a great time at Restaurant La Felina a few kilometers outside the city, in the beautiful surrounding hills.
Anyway this is one of the italian regions with the best food, so try their specialites like piadina, tortellini and many other particular dishes you will find in the menus.Please avoid fast food as you can really find more dishes to appreciate a lot, dishes that are part of this city and recion culture as it happens everywhere.

La Felina, naturally--where we had our lunch! Which was 3 kinds of pasta: can't remember one of them, but the other two were tortellone with walnuts, and lasagna verde. Delicious. Then some salami and prosciutto, lemon sorbet for dessert, and then they broke out the limoncello of course! You'll need a car to get here, as it's out of the city center, up in the hills. Very pretty--too bad the weather wasn't better, we would have had a nice view.
