by ludogatto Update may 2008- Unfortunately this old shops is closed now cause thy moved into another location, not in city center, but in a neighboorood district...it's a pity that all the old fashinating shops have to close due to a lot of problems...the high locations prices, no parking in city center, too much shopping centers............ If u need fabrics, in this store you will be able to find all what you wished. Disposed on five floor you will be able to find from the silk to the the furnishing fabrics too. The store has been recently restructured, but it maintain the original shape and the windows of the beginning of the century... this store is a piece of the recent history of this city Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: Via IV novembre 12Phone: 051 /261379

by ludogatto osvaldo vintage: via caduti di cefalonia 4/c - with male clothes too zoe&chy: via san vitale 1 - bologna - a lot of accessories
Two storees dedicate to "vintage restyling", the last tendency of the street style, the art to personalize and re-invent used clothes, adappted to the new tendencies. Made in Italy from the tissues to the working, the clothes are made with regenerate tissues and with handicraft techniques, that donates personality and authenticity to all the articles. For who it wants to be distinguished from the mass, with little prices. by Azhut In the heart of Bologna, after more than 600 years, one can walk down a passageway through buildings that already linked Strada Maggiore to Piazza S .Stefano in the 13th century. Through porticos, loggia and courtyards, where medieval shops stood, you now find the ideal place for strolling, shopping and meeting people. Unusual boutiques, located in a unique setting, offer a wide range of high quality items, to satisfy the more refined clients. Art galleries, cafés, a restaurant, a travel agency, a bank and a company of specialised dealers and stockbrokers enrich your promenade along Corte Isolani. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

by Azhut The history of Galleria Cavour Building work began on Galleria Cavour after the Second World War, in 1948, and the first shops were completed around 1960. The idea was to connect Piazza Cavour with the Pavaglione loggia with a covered walkway, i.e. "Galleria Cavour". Since the very beginning, the city's best stores have been located there. Now you can find brands such as Bulgari, Cartier, Céline, Christofle, Emporio Armani, Escada, Fendi, Gai Mattiolo, Gianni Versace, Gucci, La Perla, Louis Vuitton, Malo, Sutor Mantellassi, Tod's and Trussardi. It has been internationally recognised as one of the most important shopping streets in the world. Panelled with fine marble and red granite, it successfully combines the idea of the American shopping mall with European elegance. by Azhut Whenever you are in Bologna you cannot leave without spending a few hours in Via D'Azeglio: renamed "the living room" by the Bolognese, the street leads to the most important square in the city (Piazza Maggiore) and offers the possibility of taking a timeless stroll in a completely pedestrian area; the elegant atmosphere of Via D'Azeglio is due to the beautiful palaces from the Bologna Renaissance period that act as a backdrop to the most important stores in the city. While you stroll down Via D'Azeglio you can take in a cocktail and friendly conversation or stop in front of the elegant boutique windows. Via D' Azeglio offers its guests a synthesis of Bologna. I am not sure about location weather this is via Foscherari or Massei, anyway, the small green market is in one short and narrow street which lead directly to the Piazza Maggiore. Emilia Romagna is best known for its agricultural production and I was expected to see more favourable prices for fruits and vegetables. However, the prices are higher than those in Veneto or Lombardy! Leave a Comment Theme: Food and Drink

Market in action ina hot summer afternoon. by Mundus I just caugh Bologna's market one of this Saturdays. It's huge! There you can find almost anything, for all kinds of tastes. I'm not sure how regular is the market, I'll find out and let you know. You can usually find nice cloths in Italian markets. Be sure you'll also find a lot of crap! The attentive to the prices, not everything is cheaper there.
Almost anything!
Hopefully not much... Leave a Comment Theme: OtherAddress: Piazza Otto AgostoDirections: If you leave the train station turn left and you'll soon fin the Parco della Montagnola, the market also invades the park. In front of the park is Piazza Otto Agosto.
