Fortress of Imola was built in XV century and her most important inhabitants was widow Caterina Sforza, Mistress of the Fortress and Popes nephew Cesare Borgia who has a dream to unite Italy. Leonardo da Vinci also has important role in Imola because he designed the partial reconstruction of demaged fortress.
